join columns from different files using sort

i have 4 files


one file has 10 columns
Second file has 10 columns
third file has 3 columns
4 th has one column

i want to join all the files

my output file should have 24 columns

Any Suggestions please

You may have four files. Your files have records with fields, not columns.

You don't give any criteria for aligning the records. You don't specify any record structures. You specify a total of 27 'columns' across the files - do some of these match? If so, which ones and in which position in each file's records? Which fields are to be put in the output record and in which order?

Oops! Misreading the numbers. I added the numbers without spotting that the OP switched from using words for file number and numbers for 'columns' for the last file.

Provide below information

LRECL of file1 file2 file3 file4
RECFM of file1 file2 file3 file4
key and other field positions of file1 file2 file3 file4

LRECL\RECFM for output file

show few sample records with each file and expected output....

In other words, supply all the information that Frank usually asks for which you should know by now. You need also to specify whether duplicates can exist in any file and how to handle those situations.
