Today morning, when I logged on my 3278 terminal, I can't see the line under Options on the primary menu. Under 3.4, when I am pressing TAB, it is not taking me to the DSname Level, rather taking me to the above 4 options (Blank, V, P, PV and the comments beside those have become editable). Please see the attachment. See below when I did 3.4 from primary menu:

Enter one or both of the parameters below:
Dsname Level . . . aaaaa.bbbbbb.cccccccc
Volume serial . .

Initial View Enter "/" to select option
1 1. Volume / Confirm Data Set Delete
2. Space / Confirm Member Delete
3. Attrib / Include Additional Qualifiers
4. Total / Display Catalog Name

When the data set list is displayed, enter either:
"/" on the data set list command field for the command prompt pop-up,
an ISPF line command, the name of a TSO command, CLIST, or REXX exec, or
"=" to execute the previous command.
Please tell me how can I get the settings back to the normal one. |

I can't paste the mainframe code as it is since the HTML option is off. See this.
Options
HTML is OFF
BBCode is ON
Smilies are ON
Can you tell me how to put that on? Also, can I drag my mouse over mainframe panel and ctrl+c and ctrl+v will paste the blue and green mainframe code here?[/img] |

You still have not surrounded your screen shots with code tags so they are difficult to read.
Are you sure that your command lines are not at the bottom of the screen?
Have you had a new release of ISPF installed?
Have you asked your support people?
Have you asked other people in your area? Do they have the same proble?
Or is it just an 'April fool'? |

There was a LOGON table I had created where I had defined my Panels, Skeleton libraries, Message libraries, Table Libraries, REXX Execs, CLIST Libraries and ISPF Profile Suffix. Under ISPF Profile Suffix, it was mentioned as -
Set PrfSfx &SysName..ISPF.ISPPROF
I have commented this out since keeping this was losing all of my ISPF profile settings.
I logged off and logged back in to TSO and everything was normal.
If you type DDLIST and enter, then it shows you all the libraries currently allocated to you. To add your own libraries its always better to create a version of your own LOGON table and other libraries and put that in that DDLIST. |

Please clarify your use of terminology... the line probably did not disappear. What you are complaining about is that the line and the input field are there, but the input field was not underlined. Which is a completely different problem.
If I interpreted the situation correctly, I believe all that you complained about can be fixed in ISPF option 0. (yes, I know you already solved your problem, but a different profile would not explain a 'disappearing line') |
