Hi all,
I have a program which is associated with a transaction(GCXX). It is just a controller module which just XCTL's 2 modules and not having any screen's associted with it.
I suspect that the transaction GCXX is wrongly defined for that program. Is there any way i can find whether that transaction is invoked at any time?
Thanks,
Suma |

IIRC, STAT will show program usage counts.
SMF statistics for CICS will show if the program is used.
Or, at the end of the day, do CEMT I PROG(????????) against the program invoked by transaction GCXX and see if the use count is greater than zero. If so, it has been used since the CICS region started. |

Thanks for your input.
I know that the program would have surely been invoked in the cics region. But i want to check whether GCXX transaction is the one which invoked that program.
Is there any way to find that?
Thanks. |

Why not just check the definition (and correct it if it's incorrect)?
SMF records should record any instance of the transaction being run.
