Hi All,

I am facing an error while trying to NDM a file from MVS to UNIX server. The error message that I am receiving is as under:
Code:
Error Message: XCPR010I and Fdbk Code  => 000

When I checked what the Error Message XCPR010I signifies, then I got the below mentioned explanation:
Code:

SHORT TEXT==> Open failed for copy in &FUNCTION. Errno=&FDBK.
LONG TEXT:
   LINE 1 ==> The open failed for the output file in a copy
   LINE 2 ==> statement. The errno value indicates the specific
   LINE 3 ==> problem.
   LINE 4 ==>
   LINE 5 ==> SYSTEM ACTION: The copy step failed and CD processing
   LINE 6 ==>                continued with the next process step.
   LINE 7 ==>
   LINE 8 ==> RESPONSE:      Correct the problem and retry the
   LINE 9 ==>                failing copy. If it persists, contact
   LINE 10==>                Sterling Commerce Customer Support with
   LINE 11==>                the problem details.

However, I am not at all clear what is the error and how to resolve the problem. Your expert help is highly appreciated.

I'm sure you're aware that the 'X' means this is a Unix-generated message, and their documentation says that you need to look there for the solution, so I'm not really sure that we should even be discussing this problem here. Anyway, there are a lot of FAQ's on their website for this message, and from what I can tell, it means that the specified directory doesn't exist or the process isn't allowed to access it.

Thanks for providing an insite on which I have started to work. Once the issue is resolved, I will post the result so that someone other who might face the same issue can get a solution.
