Greetings.
Is it possible for an ICF Usercatalog to go multi-volume? I haven't seen anything that says it can't, but then, I haven't seen anything that says it can either.
I know it's a VSAM KSDS, so it should be able to go multi-volume. Right?

I've never tried it, mainly because I've never had the need to extend a UCAT |

The manual at one point seems to indicate that one volume is it; at another spot the manual seems to indicate that SMS-managed user catalogs can be multi-volume. I guess the only way to know for sure is to try one. |

Robert,
I found APAR II13718, that says that a BCS cannot use more than 1 volume. So it seems to be something I'll just have to live with. |
