what are the abend codes you get while running a db2-cobol program

alert: abend codes, not sql codes

fine .....

what is the difference between abend code and sql code......

which component of DB2 will issue SQL codes, and ABEND codes..

Abend codes produced by JES, MVS and JCL. SQL Codes produced by DB2.

hi friend,
the abend code is the abnormal termination of the program which occurs in JCL ,COBOL, etc., the sql codes are occured during the wrong supply of the data to the table or fetching the mismatch value to the variable. while interfacing both COBOL & DB2 when the wrong argument is processed then you may get the abend code. mostly u will get the sql code only.
