Hi Folks,

I have an issue that the attribute setting is not reseted on the second time when throwing the map.

On firsr time : Iam highlighting the attribute (DFHBMBRY) to certain fields(FIELDA) (UNPROT) on screen depending on user changes when saving the data with (SEND MAP ERASE ) . Next time when the user again changing the data , previous saved data is initialised and when i type on the field it is taking with red color and i beielive that attribute settting is not reseted . for further processing of screen , program uses only SEND DATA ONLY . Please let me know how to reset the attribute setting after thrwing for the first time ?

Whether i need to use CNTL = FRSET IN bms defnition ? but since i used ATTRB= (UNPROT, FSET) in DFHMDF fields(Map fields) i thouoght it will affect other functionlaity ?

Please help me how to reset the attribute setting when throwing the map ?

Thanks
Balaji K

you don't throw maps, you Send them.
usage of proper terminology will help when you research (i.e. read the manuals).

If the attribute is to always be 'on', declare it in the map build
(the assembler for the map,
or in you map build facility - sdf2, ...)

You should only be programmatically setting attributes if display requirements
change as a result of input.
