inser a line in all JCL's in a PDS

Hi,

My requirement to insert a line "//step1 exec pgm=sort"

in all the jcl's .Please help.

What have you researched yourself, and what do you suggest is the best way to do this.

Of course more information would be helpful, like insert the line where

I never did see so much nonsense about a requirement. How stupid can one be pretending to be a SE (system engineer) to come up with such a
question.

Peter, methinks SE is a software engineer. Just another case of NOT using the correct terminology

that could be the case. But nevertheless what a SE means in the TS's
mind, in my world people had to do some hard learning to get that title.

Then what would you do with a PGM=SORT statement only, i believe that
SORT requires some other JCL statements. So in this case it will take care
of a lot of errors running the job streams.
