If a job hasn't run by a predefined time ( 5:00 PM ), I will have to run / trigger another job (Emailing job).
How can I accomplish this using CA-7?
Any other alternate methods ???
Any Ideas??
Thanks for all the help . |

Hello,
One way to do what you want is to have the job you want to monitor write a value (i.e. current date/time) in some database table or vsam file.
Then run the e-mail job at 5 and check if the "other" job has been run by looking at the value. If the date/time is not current, send the e-mail. |
