I have got a problem, and all I can see from the CICS region log is:
Code:
OC8902  8:53:20  WARNING LIMIT EXCEEDED FOR FILE REQUESTS   : TRANS=CSMI, TASKNO=  66054, USER=TORNAME
OC8903  8:53:20  ABEND "RLFC" ISSUED DUE TO FILE REQUESTS   : TRANS=CSMI, TASKNO=  66054, USER=TORNAME
DFHDU0207I 21/12/2010 08:53:20 AORNAME Transaction and system dumps for dumpcode: RLFC were suppressed by the DUMP TABLE OPTION
           FOR THIS DUMPCODE.

I suppose this was due to too much access of file at the same time and the limit was surpassed. but I cannot figure out what the file name is...

In addition, this is AOR region log and AOR program abend, but why USER=TORNAME (TORNAME stands for the TOR region name) appeared?

I googled with keyword "CSMI" and "RLFC", not no desirable result came out.

Can anybody please provide me some solution to this issue?

Thanks very much!

OC8902.

OC messages are generated by OMEGAMON, so maybe the OMEGAMON
support group could help.

the message numbers are not IBM message numbers

googling for RLFC would give too many useless hits,
but if You add to the search also the message number You will get the links needed to solve Your issue pointing

to:
publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/tivihelp/v15r1/topic/com.ibm.omegamon.cics.doc_3.1/messages/oc8902.html

and:
publib.boulder.ibm.com/tividd/td/ITCPMess/GC32-9419-02/en_US/PDF/SC32-9419-02.pdf

with the description of the message and the actions to undertake to manage the situation

I am in very good mood today,
I am just trying to teach people how to use a bit of ingenuity when doing things...

what logic to use to extract from the posted info the most relevant tokens
( but that' s an associative logic, not easy to reach, that comes only from experience )
in consultantese how to process facts to obtain findings icon_biggrin.gif

and to show that he could go to the support group with a bit of problem determination already done

Thank you!

I'm still a fresh man, but I'm now trying to become experienced.

As a matter of fact, I have searched out the information you provided me before I post my question here...

I beg to disagree.. You did not!

if You had, You would have found out about the KOCRLIM macro,
You would have googled for it
and found this

As this issue never happened before, I suppose there should be no problem in KOCRLIM macro settings. Further more, I have no such privilige to modify KOCRLIM macro parameters.

I have to examine the program...

General concern!
I wonder what kind of issues people asking here have within their organizations
they keep asking outside, why in heaven they do not ask their support to start with!

most often there is very little that we can do here
... reread the manuals,
... point to the line where it tells contact the internal support or IBM

and repeat the suggestion!

Probably those organizations have high expectations of the people they hire. But those same people cant meet those expectations and are afraid to ask around for information/solutions. My guess is its all created by the outsourcing hype, cheap and no experience and not willing to ask the old experienced hands loosing their jobs because of that same outsourcing.

I like to ask question here, because you are experts , easy-going and very helpful.

I am new to current company, and I do not want to show my incapability to my new peers. icon_redface.gif

And furthermore, I do not want to loose shame to IBM...

Your feeling of incapability/incompetence as related to Your environment is not really our problem

...
for the other people usually replying
as an alternative instead of giving free IT consultancy,
we should change the forum mission and start charging for psychological assistance icon_biggrin.gif

You already did that quite a few times, reread You past posting history and meditate

Calm down, man.

improper f***** condescending attitude,
if You do not want people post unpleasant remarks learn how to behave!
You should know that people replying have more privileges than people asking

i will not take any nonsense/bullsith, my tone here is very sweet icon_biggrin.gif ,
when I deal with paying customers I am usually much more rude ...
because the relation is by agreement based on no nonsense, no bullshit, let's not waste time
they know that since they pay for my services and time, it is better to make good use of them
and too often on forum there is too much bullshit, too much nonsense too much time wasted!

the main issue with You ( comprehensive/generic ) all asking for help is that you are not concerned about <costs/value> ( what is free has no value )
since You do not pay you do not appreciate fully what we do for You
and do not care how much time we spend WASTE on Your issues ...
going over and over Your questions because You are incapable of explaing
researching and rereading the manuals posting links to demonstrate that the info is there waiting to be picked up
trying to make You think about what You are doing
explaining that we cannot help because we do not have access to Your environment
being a substitute for poor organizations
and ...
and ...
and ...

if You ( you in person ) lurk thru the questions and replies in the forums
You should be able to see how much timer is wasted on stupid issues like
Quote:
question ==> I got the XXX message
answer ==> read the f***** icon_biggrin.gif manual
follow on ==> oh, thank You
or
Quote:
question ==> I got the ZZZ abend
answer ==> ask Your f***** icon_biggrin.gif support
follow on ==> oh, thank You, i' ll do that

it's the oh that makes me wonder !

but the worst is that You all are just concerned about Your ego being honed
and do not realize that even if the tone is sometimes rude
we show You much more respect than the one You all show us

remember
when You ask You have much more obligations then when You reply

cheers and season greeting

no need for that ;
just think, write, reread twice and after that do not hit the submit button icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif
easy isn' t it ?

anyway, just use the first part of my suggestion
a bad question is a bad question, whoever ID is used!

how many years of experience... I lost count,
but IIRC I told You somewhere in a PM

I would not be worried about the ID I would be worried more with the posting style
for the frequent posters, with a bit of experience You can tell who.
expressing oneself depends on the personality, not on the ID

Hello,

Quote:
we did not became expert by getting spoon fed on forums
Even "User groups" were rare when we began - let alone online forums and listservs. . .

The main ways to learn back then were to spend lots of tme in manuals and the microfilm/microfiche (if it was available) or write code to learn what would happen.

Suggest you look at lots of different topicsin the parts of the forum you have interest. You will notice that some proceed nicely and some become unpleasant.

The ones that become unpleasant happen most often because someone appears to be unwilling to do anything for themself or there is a problematic misunderstanding due to language problems.

Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season and New Year,

d
