I have 10 steps in a job. I want to skip first 9 steps and go to the 10 th step. How can we do that?

That is so not true. RESTART can be used at any time.

Dave's answer is correct. I was also thinking that you could use the IEBEDIT utility to basically do the same thing.

Why would you have a JCL with 10 steps, if the aim is to only run the 10th step all the time ?

Expat - I am sure, he would not want to skip the first 9 steps all the time. But am just trying to get on the nerves of the king to give us more details of on what condition would he like to skip the steps, that can help me in understanding the problem atleast icon_biggrin.gif

I know, thats a psychic approach, cant help though ;)

Dick's font size is increasing as we near year's end. Do you reset it in January?
