Hi,
I can create a Dasd File using PUTENV utility as per project req by appending some values in the file HILQ. So i got the new request to create a Tape file with the same values. I am unable to create the tape file dynamically. So plz help me to solve the problem..

Are you running in batch? TSO? Unix System Services? Without telling us at least basic information like this, just how do you expect us to be able to help you? |

| Contact your site support group. Many (probably most) sites do not allow a TSO user to allocate a tape data set. Only your site support group can tell your for sure what the rules are at your site. |
