Greetings!
I have 2 files. The 1st file will always have one record and my 2nd file will have multiple records. I need to replace a particular record on my 2nd file with the record from 1st file.
E.g:
FILE1:
| Code: |
| Subject: NEW SUBJECT |
FILE2:
| Code: |
Name: Mr. X
Class: X
Subject: OLD SUBJECT - MATHS, PHYSICS
City: New Jersey |
I need my output 3rd file to look like
FILE3: (output)
| Code: |
Name: Mr. X
Class: X
Subject: NEW SUBJECT - MATHS, PHYSICS
City: New Jersey |
I am not sure if JOINKEYS can help me, as my fles have no unique keys to match. Could someone help me with this? I have been trying to search similar question in this forum. Thought I will post this question meanwhile. Appreciate help/advise in any form.
