Hi,
please don't give too much away, I for one have no clue what your are talking about, my best guess to your question is YES and NO.

AFAIK, DFSORT does NOT support the XSUM feature though the same results can be achieved using DFSORT's ICETOOL.
If your product is Syncsort, post your queries in JCL forum as this forum is exclusively for queries on DFSORT.
Though not related to this topic, what happened to your previous Syncsort topic here???

Your question must have been related to JCL then , look at this, which will appear in the body-of-the-thread somewhere, if the topic is moved across forums:

this particular topic is moved from other Forum to JCL part of the Forum. |

Syncsort topics are discussed in the JCL part of the forum. Even if you post elsewhere, it will be moved to the relevant forum.

Guess you missed the above post |

Your new topics go to JCL because that is the part of the forum where you entered the new topic.
You need to position your screen in the part of the forum where you want your new topic located. For example, if you want to start a new COBOL topic, click on Mainframe COBOL from the Forums Index. Then click the NEW TOPIC and your post will be in the COBOL part of the forum.
As you have seen, we can relocate topics when needed, but it best to pay attention and start the topic in the proper part fo the forum. . . |

Dick,
I think the OP is concerned about posting a new topic in "DFSORT forum", but it is getting moved to "JCL forum" automatically
bodatrinadh,
What exactly are you trying to do with your SORTXSUM file?
It might help if you are able to explain your problem with some sample input/output data, input/output file attributes, any error messages you faced etc. |

Hi Arun,
As best as i can see, bodatrinadh has Syncsort and should not try to post in the DFSORT part of the forum. When seen, these will be moved to JCL. . . |
