I am trying to create macro in Novell Terminal Pro 6.2.
It is a mainframe emulator.
So how to resolve it? |

Errrrrrrrrr, but the emulator is a PC application
PC Not-Equal Mainframe
Suggest that you talk to your site support people regarding this issue as any setup values or parameters or allowable functions are more than likely to be site specific. |

But It is a mainframe application. I am sure many users might be using it.
They might be knowing the solution. |

Expat, give the guy a break.
He does not want - to talk to anyone at his site
- to do any research
- to read any steenkin manual

Probably your emulator uses that utility to create macros and i gues
it is not installed.
As a software engineer (whats in a name?) you should have had an inclination about that. |

NO, please review and widen Your terminology,
the <thing> is NOT a mainframe emulator, if it was You would be able to run zOS <inside> it
it is simply a terminal ( 3270 ) emulator used to connect to anything that supports the 3270 protocol
in most cases to an mvs(zOS) or vm(zVM) type operating system
there are quite a few provider of 3270 emulators on PC,
so the assumption to find easily help on any of them is just wrong!

who/what is a mainframe application!
the <emulator> is a PC application used to connect to a MF
writing an emulator macro is not a mainframe application!
learn that in IT using the right terminology is at the base of good communication! |

Why Dick,
You almost make this sound the norm rather than the exception |
