ICE046A during execution of DSNUTIULB

We are getting an ICE046A message during the execution of DSNUTILB to do a tablespace reorg.

ICE046A 0 SORT CAPACITY EXCEEDED - RECORD COUNT 15194824

The generated input stream to the Sort is:

SORT FIELDS=(00032.0,00002.0,A,00005.0,00020.0,A),FORMAT=BI,FILSZ=E0000*
00019745858
RECORD TYPE=V,LENGTH=(00122,00122,00122)
OPTION MSGPRT=ALL,MSGDDN=UTPRINT,AVGRLEN=00122,MAINSIZE=065536K

Is there a way to override the MAINSIZE to get more storage for the sort?

I tried increasing the Region Size, but that did not help any. This is running with a Region=256M on the exec card.

I believe this is more a SORT question/opportunity than DB2, so i've relocated the topic.

The problem is probably NOT related to MAINSIZE or REGION. It is probably related to filesize and workspace.

Please add the following to the job so it will produce diagnostic messages:

//SORTDIAG DD DUMMY

Then send me (yaeger@us.ibm.com) the complete JES log offline and I'll take a look.
