| I would be very much grateful if anyone could provide a documentation on what are CMT entries,why it is necessary and how it is used in deciding how to restart a abended job? |

the best providers for such info are the CA manuals
since CA policy about manuals is tighter than IBM one
CA manuals cannot be posted nor linked
but they are available to CA licensed customers |

All of the material is available free from CA Support if your organizatoin is licensed to use the product. All you have to do is register with CA Support and download the material. |
