I am trying to compare two mainframe files with key and without key, also elimination of some fields, char by char. Can you anyone help me, with the source code of REXX or easytrieve tool, or SAS compare routine. I need other then file-aid, SORT/ICETOOL, SUPERC compare.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Post some sample input data and the output you want from the sample input.

Explain any rules to apply getting from the input to the output.

Unless I'm mistaken this was posted in other Forum too. Well, all the other options you've mentioned are nothing but the programming languages of one type or other -- you would need to write a code with permissible syntax, for a chosen language, though the pseudo code will remain same.
