copybook renaming

i have encounter copybook replacement in this manner.
COPY AR00RB REPLACING ==:AR00:== BY ==AMCR==.

why to do in this manner.instead of writing AMCRRB.

Please help.

REPLACING works on the contents of the COPY, not on its name!

Why don't you contact PaySys International (First Data) and ask them for an alternative or a solution?
