Hi,
I need to copy content of flat file (say File-A) to more than one VSAM file(Say File-B,File-C,File-D) . Is this possible through REPRO of IDCAMS. IF not is there some other way to do that?

Thanks

If you have DFSORT installed then I would take a look at ICETOOL which can generate multiple copies of data. I believe that ICETOOL will only use one pass of the input data so would be far more efficient than running multiple IDCAMS steps.

Ok will check it... One more doubt is , will DFSORT be able to operate on writing VSAM files ?

If it would not, our senior contributors would not suggest it . . .
