Briefly about rexx and its use

hi,thank u for ur explanation..can i have more briefly about rexx and its use with respect to project requirements.how to utilize them.may be if u explain me with a piece of code and its functionality with respect to a project.

and are used to have handy useful info or remainders

REXX is just another programming language with it' s own advantages and disadvantages

for example
- very strong string ( is not a pun ) handling capabilities
- very fast for quick prototyping

- very poor I/O performance
