I want to copy the records from the file of 180days old by comparing a date field on position which is in the format of CYYMMDDS , cannot find sort operand of this particular format in PD, Y'date1' is only considering the ZD format, I want the sort operand which will consider the PD format.
In the PDO fromat it drops C and S still if some body suggests the sort operand which only considers the P(YYMMDD) is fine. |

It's not clear what your CYYMMDDS values look like. Please post some examples of these values in hex.
Also, give the starting position and length of the field. |

C stands for century 1>2000 0< 2000, and I want to compare from217 .
position Ex: c1100825. c stands for the sign and one stands for the century remaining yr,month, date.
ex: date1p gives yyyymmdd format in packed, I want for the cyyyymmdds format operand in packed |

Post some sample input records and the output you want from that sample input. |
