I want to copy the records from the file of 180days old by comparing a date field on position which is in the format of CYYMMDDS , cannot find sort operand of this particular format in PD, Y'date1' is only considering the ZD format, I want the sort operand which will consider the PD format.

In the PDO fromat it drops C and S still if some body suggests the sort operand which only considers the P(YYMMDD) is fine.

It's not clear what your CYYMMDDS values look like. Please post some examples of these values in hex.

Also, give the starting position and length of the field.

C stands for century 1>2000 0< 2000, and I want to compare from217 .

position Ex: c1100825. c stands for the sign and one stands for the century remaining yr,month, date.

ex: date1p gives yyyymmdd format in packed, I want for the cyyyymmdds format operand in packed
