Hi Folks,
Can we access IDMS database from any other language other than COBOL,CICS, & other main frame technologies?
As far as I know IDMS D/B resides in Mainframe.
We are trying to access the database from INFORMATICA (Data warehousing tool).
Is this possible?
Please help. |

Hello,
Suggest you ask Informatica. . .
They will know which databases can be accessed and how. |

| Yes this can be done with technologies other than Mainframe technologies.. We have some VB application which are direclty connecting to IDMS data base to get the details. But not sure about how to do this with informatica |
