btw i did read your answer about the zip/390 api. Did you have the
chance for a more in-depth test? Cause it a little unsatisfactory
that that API is not returning info that could be of interest for the
API caller. |

| Peter: I split this from the other topic since it's not really related. I was looking at what I have, and the API call I have is for an encryption, not a zip operation. When I get a chance, hopefully this week but possibly not, I'll run a zip test to see what gets generated in the interface. I suspect, due to the encryption instead of zipping, that the output buffer would have to be filled before the Z-OUTPUT-SIZE field would be changed from zero. |
