Hi,
I have to compare the list of tables pertaining to a application in test and prod environment to set up a test region.
I am querying SYSIBM.SYSPLANDEP in test and prod , comparing results manually. When i tried to put a join on TEST.SYSIBM.SYSPLANDEP and PROD.SYSIBM.SYSPLANDEP tables i am getting SQL CODE -512.

From SQL code I understand that I am unable to join prod and since they are in different regions and its not a federated DB.(federated - googled and found this word ).

Is there an alternate way to achieve this task .

db: DB2 on ZOS

Kindly give your suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Mohan

you need to copy prod table to a private table or a DGTT in test and join with that one.
At least, that's what I always do.

Or on a LUW db2 create two aliases : one to TEST and one to PROD.
On LUW you can create aliases and join, not so on z/OS.
