Some instruction to search a word in a variable file

Hi, I´m trying to use the INCLUDE COND=(5,500,SS,CH,C'757') in a variable file, but is showing the error
ICE218A 6 361 BYTE VARIABLE RECORD IS SHORTER THAN 502 BYTE MINIMUM FOR

So, Is there any sentence like this to be used with VB files?
