Hi,
I have some problem in finding the update of the date in TSQ

The CICS region down time is at 11.50PM-12.10AM
When the CICS region is up @12.10 AM the DATE is updated in the TSQ (date is placed in the queue).

i want to know how this date is getting updated in the TSQ how this is being driven. How this is associated with the CICS region gets UP.

Talk to your site CICS support group and see if there is a PLT program running during CICS start up that is setting the date.

There could be a PLT-PI program that updates this date/time stamp in the TSQ when CICS comes up.

Is the contents of the TSQ the same, when the region went down and when it came back up (with the exception of the date/time stamp?).

The TSQ could be defined to RDO as Recoverable (can only be written to AUX storage and not MAIN). AUX translates to DD DFHTEMP.

Have you spoken with some of your co-workers or your Tech Support staff?

Without knowing more about your environment, it's pure guesswork as all environments are different in one way or the other.

Program List Table - Post Initialization (stages are 01, 02 and 03). They are executed during CICS Startup. Not to be confused with PLT-SD (Shut Down) programs, which are executed during an orderly region shutdown and are also defined/executed in stages (Firstquiesce and Finalquiesce).

They are documented and explained in the CICS manuals.

You may also want to contact your Tech Support personnel and/or CICS System Programmer for further explanation.

Bill, this should have been the first thing tecnokrat should have done,
before posting the question on this forum.
