A lot depends on what you mean by "mq error codes".

MQ completion codes and MQ reason codes are intended for handling within applications are are not externalised except by those applications.

CSQ* messages issued by MQ started tasks are available on SYSLOG. These, along with severity, are documented in the IBM Manuals. CICS also issues DFHMQ* messages related to MQ.

Not sure what you mean by this.

You may want to monitor queue depths to ensure messages are being procesed in a timely manner and watch sone system queues such as the dead-letter-queue.

Garry.
