What is a clustering index?.Explain with an example...

A clustering index is an index that determines how rows are physically ordered in a table space.For example,if you have table EMPTAB and Empid,Name,Age are the fields.If you declare Empid as the key for the clustered index,then when we insert records into this table,the records will be inserted in empid order.
