Hi,
I have an application which needs to be run on weekend(sunday) before the last work day of a month. How do I create a runcycle for the application?

I guess you can use the GENDAYS command to setup the period you need.
TWS use calendar and periods to setup scheduling dates for an application, so maybe alreaday exists in your OPC a period that satisfied your need.
Like above, consult your TWS/OPC admin. |

Now... i have a question.
And please do not send me to read manuals beacuase i already did that.
I have an aplicattion that it is scheduled to be run all days but not on free days starting 10 AM ending 18:00 but it runs every to hours.
I do not understand how that two hours repetitions is setup. There is no other application that schedule this one (as far as i know) so please let me hear yout taughts on this item.
If i found the anwers i will post it. |

Read the manuals or ask your TWS/OPC people.
It has to do with defining calendars/run cycles. |

Thanks Peter
My problem is that i`m the OPC/TWS admin in the enterprise.
Funny comment...
hahahaha
I found the option that makes the applications runs every two hours. From the OPC`s main panel choose option 1.4.3 and type me application name.
After that did a B (browse) and then enter RUN command.
in there i select the period setup for my application. Then put an S in the period column. Now in this new screen i enter E command to exlpain...
and that it is! The option called REPEAT has 02:00 hours repetition coded.
THANKS !!!! |
