Hi
How to Purge a transaction that is running in cics.
Do we have to purge only in CICS environment Or is it possible in ISPF also.
Please help me out.

Hi.
I don't know any way by ISPF.
In an CICS environment (also CICS console) I use for this operation
transaction CEMT by this way(after logging to CICS):
CEMT SET TRA(tran_name) DI
For some terminal the same transaction by SET TE(term) FORCE or OUT.

Hi,
There is way in ISPF for purging CICS transaction.
There tool called Environment Analyser which can be used for analysis about region like CICS, DB2. mostly this tool installed in Project manager . Once u entered into the tool it will ask CICS , DB2 etc. choose that .From that he can purge the particular TRANS ID. Even if that particular TRANS ID creating some problems in CICS environment .
