Hello All,
I am migrating from CA MSM r2 to r3 at our site and while trying to start the TOMCAT server, I am getting the following problem:
Code: |
MSM0008E - System startup failed - please see error output for further information. Fatal error that has stopped the startup was: org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (IO error sending or receiving native data: ca.datacom.db.DBIOException: CCICONV FAILURE: Remote resource path not available in Session(connect)). |
MSM r2 was working without any problems; but I had to get Java 6 SR8 installed at our site (which is one of the pre-requisites of r3; MSM r2 needed Java 5). I am unable to pin-point the exact nature of this problem, could someone please lead me to a correct direction so that I know where the problem lies?
Any kind of help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Kushal |

Hello,
Suggest you open an issue with CA Support.
They have been very helpful whenever there are installation/upgrade questions/problems.
Actually, whenever one of my clients is going to do an install or an upgrade, i open an issue with CA Support to let them know this is underway and that we may need night or weekend help. |

Thanks Dick for the suggestion, that's what I am planning to do now because at this point I am completely blanked out.
I just came to this forum first to see if someone has experienced the same problem before... I searched through the forum and couldn't find anything relevent! |
