Is XGCBATCH a Xpediter date utility program? Is there anyway to access the source code? I am having issues with the date simulation code XGCBATCH and I need to look into the code. The code works when I give the year as 2009 but fails when I give it as 2010 with a S0c4. Need to check this code out. I am not sure if this is shop specific but I just could not find the source anywhere! Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Arvind |

I dont know, but even if it is a XPeditor utility there is no way to obtain the source code from Compuware. |

If it is an Xpediter facility, you won't get to see the source code -- but you can open a problem report with Compuware, who will either change the code to fix the problem or explain to you why not. |

I do not find any references of "XGCBATCH" in XPEDITER/TSO and XPEDITER/IMS COBOL User’s Guide, Release 7.1. Are you sure it's not some in-house written date routine? Have you confirmed it with someone, at your shop? |

Hello,
Suggest you look at the load module and see if tyhere are any values that might indicate where the source was written (locally, some vendor, etc.). There might be copyright info, or some other "eye-catcher".
You might also use AMBLIST and determine which compiler was used to compile the code and when it was done. |
