As part of my new enhancement, I want to create a new DB2 table, a new IMS database as well

as a new screen.New screen functionalities would be in PLI/IMS.
Can anyone list separately the details that would be required to start off for the above three requests?

Thanks,
Sundar.

Sandy,

It's an business requirement.

I know the list will have "A LOT" but those info would give me the clear idea abt the changes that required.
Can you list the details(For IMS - Segment definition etc, For Screen - MFS etc) separately???

Thanks,
Sundar.

It's late here in the states - I will start tomorrow morning. Do you have the support of your tech services group - systems programmers?

Let's start with your requirements definition. First things first - you cannot design a system without knowing WHAT it is going to do. WHAT is the end result? WHAT is the purpose? WHERE will you get the data to populate these new databases? WHY do you need 2 new databases - is this data existing somewhere already?

Look at it this way. You are an artist and you want to paint a picture. You don't start painting a picture without first determining your subject matter and gathering your supplies.
