Hi All,
Is it possible to stop execution of the first step in the jcl by using the COND parameter (either it's in job level or step level)?
Thanks & Regards,
RAthna. |

COND=ONLY on the first step will work for you. |

You want to stop preventing the first step?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
But seriously, some adopt the convention of using an empty IEFBR14 first step, so then every step can be controlled by a RC check, rather than COND=EVEN. |

You can also use the RESTART parameter in the job card to start executing in the second (or later) step. |
