xpeditor has excellent online help/tutorials.
you should also avail yourself of the documentation,
that will be available at your site,
if your site has a valid license.
there are several thread/topics that can be found using the search facility for this website.
I realize that it easier for you to post this question on several websites,
instead of just reading documentation. |

This should not make a difference as long as your program is a batch-program.
Usually what I've seen is -- shops have different DDIO-files for Batch-programs and on-line (CICS) programs and you need to get the listings in the correct DDIO-file to be able to debug your program. |

You are obviously not able to set up your Xpediter session without help. For that you should use manuals, internal how-tos, your application development support staff at your site, colleagues, search this forum.
Are you also in doubt on what to do when you have your Xpediter session up and running on your application program?
You will have to make clear what you want to test in each session:
Specific code debugging
Code coverage tests
Data/interface simulation
These are just a few of the possibilities you have with Xpediter. |
