PROCOPT option for GSAM database

Hello,

I am trying to write a COBOL program which writes in a GSAM database. This program has a restart logic and on a restart, we prefer to append new records to the existing file(database). I am trying to google to find the various parameters (or equivalent) that might have to be considered to implement the same. My study makes me think that PROCOPT=LS might be one of the option that has to be provided. Could any of you help me confirming the same and help me with the other parameters to be considered, if any.

why do you not look at the ims manuals:

ims vsn 11
ims vsn 10
ims vsn 9

vsn 8 and ims tools are readily visible from the above links
