The FILEAID primary menu is as below -
Code:
 0 PARAMETERS - Specify ISPF and File-AID parameters    USERID  - JP00395
1 BROWSE     - Display file contents                   PF KEYS - 24
2 EDIT       - Create or change file contents          TERMINAL- 3278
 3 UTILITIES  - File-AID/SPF extended utilities         TIME    - 11:38
 5 PRINT      - Print file contents                     JULIAN  - 04.107
6 SELECTION  - Create or change selection criteria     DATE    - 04/04/16
7 XREF       - Create or change record layout cross reference
8 VIEW       - View interpreted record layout
9 REFORMAT   - Convert file from one format to another
10 COMPARE   - Compare file contents
C CHANGES    - Display summary of File-AID changes
 T TUTORIAL   - Display information about File-AID
X EXIT       - Terminate File-AID and return to ISPF

Option 7 or 8 can be used to view copybook layout.

Hello Friends,
My shop uses File-AID for DB2 Release 4.7
But the primary options menu screen is different from the one shown by sandip_datta. The main thing is XREF (option 7) & VIEW(option 8) options are not displayed.

Where should I look why these options are not available?

astro,

What sandip_datta shown is not the menu of "File-AID for DB2". It is Primary Option Menu of FileAid. Both are different.

If you dont know how to reach desired one. Contact your System Admin, who'll tell you what options it is configured with.

Regards,
Priyesh.
