In JCL we get final MAXCC code as the highest MAXCC of all the steps , i.e. if STEP1 CC=100, STEP2 CC=200,STEP3 CC=0 etc.

so the final CC of the whole job will be 200. But I want to set it to zero for job finished (we dont know which step is having highest MAXCC).

How can I achieve this

In the scheduler, there might be an option to mark a job as "Complete" eventhough RC of job is greater than Zero, ie, to feel that job ends with RC=0.

In plain, it can NOT be done what you asked. Hope I'm correct?

Within the program that is executing and at the time of execution. You can not change the past.

What you're really asking is - can I RESET the RC of a job-step.

The answer is only in an IDCAMS step and only for THAT step. You can't reset a RC of another step from an IDCAMS step.
