In JCL we get final MAXCC code as the highest MAXCC of all the steps , i.e. if STEP1 CC=100, STEP2 CC=200,STEP3 CC=0 etc.
so the final CC of the whole job will be 200. But I want to set it to zero for job finished (we dont know which step is having highest MAXCC).
How can I achieve this |

In the scheduler, there might be an option to mark a job as "Complete" eventhough RC of job is greater than Zero, ie, to feel that job ends with RC=0.
In plain, it can NOT be done what you asked. Hope I'm correct? |

Within the program that is executing and at the time of execution. You can not change the past. |

What you're really asking is - can I RESET the RC of a job-step.
The answer is only in an IDCAMS step and only for THAT step. You can't reset a RC of another step from an IDCAMS step. |
