Hi ,

I am not able to edit my PDS ( i.e PDS prefixed with my ID ) nor can I View them . I now have browse access to my dataset.

I am not able to get in to the profile option to check if there are any profile changes.

When i am trying to open my PDS , I get the message "Initial Macro set"

and when I try to open the member in the PDS , I get a message on the top right corner saying " No Format Table "

Please advise on how to regain my access.

Thanks in advance!!

DO NOT post attachments as not everyone is able to open them, thus reducing the number of people abale to help you.

I'd love to help but have absolutely no idea whatsoever of what you have attached. Oh well, never mind.

In fact I probably know what the problem is and how to fix it, but obviously without confirmation .......................

My Bad, thought it would show you what the error message is?

Could u help me in setting profileoptions back to normal so that I can view/ edit my members in the dataset?

I cannot edit or view for the newly created PDS / members.

I tried logging off and login but in vain

OK, a guess as you still have not posted what you actually see

When you try to edit the PDS from 3.4 put / under the prompt column and a further screen will be displayed. In this screen you will probably find that the field FORMAT has a value in it. Clear this field and then try again.
Code:
Command ===>
           Name     Prompt
e________ COPYDSN  /

you should get in touch with your site-support group for such issuses. For a try hit PF1, when the "error mesages" show up again.

Make sure all is well with "View Entry Panel", some times it so happens that a programmer had put an incorrect format name on the 'View Entry Panel".

The issue is resolved however when i try to open in View mode , I have to put a slash in the prompt field to open in view and then a screen pops up .

Once you have cleared the field once, you no longer need to put the / in anymore
