To Find Occurs from displacement

Hi,

I was asked this question in an interview :

How to get the occurs of a particular element in an array if we have the displacement.

If all you have is the displacement, you cannot get the occurrence number. You must have at least the displacement and the length of an individual occurrence to compute the occurrence number.
