In my shop, there are no Started tasks associated with CA1. But in other systems, I've seen CTS running. Is CTS the started task for CA-1? |

Hello,
Suggest you talk with the system support people as to how CA-1 is installed/managed on this system. |

No that is not what i meant to say. . .
What i meant to say was that you need to talk with the people responsible for the operation/support of CA-1. . .
FWIW - as far as i know, not every system runs CTS - as a started task or otherwise.

The CTS procedure is required if you
choose to use any of the following features:
■ DBS – Database Services
■ LAB – Label Print
■ APEC – Automatic Pointers Error Correction
■ DTS – Distributed Tape Support
if u are not using any of the features of CA-1 then , you need not to have CTS started task running in the system. |
