PDSE to PDS conversation

Hi Friends,

In PDSE LIBRARY, JCL were tried to create a new member with BLKSIZE = 80,where PDSE library Block Size is 9040.
the New member has been created succesfully.

ADMIN Team Converted the PDSE library to PDS with same BLKSIZE as 9040
In this PDS JCL were tried to create a new member with BLKSIZE = 80 it is giving wrong length record error.i have changed this BLKSIZE = 9040 and the job went fine.but why this difference between PDS and PDSE.

please give me your suggestions

I think that you really do need to take the time to clarify exactly what has happened, what the errror messages and codes actually issued were, and what your question is really about.

Unfortunately the information given by you does not really say a lot.
