I have 20 jobs to monitor, I want to know when they started and ended.
But I want to know them when the job Started or ended.
I will send that info by FTP or e-mail...
what can I do to achieve that?
I can add steps to all my job's headers and footers.
I can read something like log or SMF data every minute via a job and Include only my jobs informations.
What is the best practise for that issue?, Thanks... |

Hello,
Possibly i misunderstand, but there is no reason to send information every time a job starts or ends. . .
What business purpose does 40 e-mails saying something started or ended support?
Suggest you talk with the scheduling people and see what is already available to look at job start/stop times. |
