Hello All,

I am trying to invoke the spool archive ASAR in a job.Usually I start ASAR from the ISPF start menu by simply typing ASAR. But when I try to invoke it in a job, I am getting load module ASAR not found error.
FYI ASAR is a spool archiving tool in which the jobs which finishes their execution is automatically gets archived.

Can anyone help as what went wrong.

You need to ask your site admin people which libraries are required.

Also if it is possible to run in batch - either site admin or the documentation.

I'm confused what question should I look at - what you posted in your subject-line or what in "the body of thread"? They are differnt questions.

If invoking SDSF in batch is your cincern, this topic is discussed many time in this forum, a search on "SDSF and Batch" should gice you enough to go otherwise follow on what expat has said.
