Hi,
Had a look at this similar topic: Click here.
And was wondering what if I got the LIMIT increased, anyhow, are there any "side-effects'?
I checked this link at IBM and under "OUTLIM(n1)" it says:
Quote: |
If n1 is less than or equal to 16777215, the system passes the value to JES as the OUTLIM value. If n1 is greater than 16777215, the system does not pass the value to JES. However, n1 still serves as the limit for the TRANSMIT command. |
so if limit at my site is 9970000, does that mean I still have some room to increase the limit?
I had two above questions then I hit this other link: a pdf link and if you search for "outlim" in this link, it says:
Quote: |
The OUTLIM operand of the TRANSREC statement of the active IKJTSO00 parmlib member no longer limits the output
.
.
This is controlled by the OUTWARN operand of the TRANREC statement of IKJTSOxx |
So which one is correct? (aargh why my ID does not have the access to those libraries to check all these ) and again if I got the LIMIT increased, anyhow, are there any "side-effects'?
I've dropped a mail to my support-group but they work in differnt time-zone and usually with such questions they are not happy so I' might need to wait pretty long...
Please stop by and have a look what I posted here and if possible, please assist. |
