Hi Guyz,
I have one program running in the Natural in CICS region.
I want to stop it.Is there a way we can do it from command prompt or any other way other than calling the OPs or DBA people. |

Hello,
Calling ops or the dba is the normal way to terminate something. . .
It is ok to tell people we made a mistake - it is not ok to (try to) hide it. . . |

Why ask someone to do something that you can do yourself? This is a simple matter, if you have the proper authorization and access rights.
1 Logon to Natural in the same CICS region as the runaway user
2 Execute SYSEXT
3 Use PF8 to scroll to USR4006P
4 Line command (Cmd field) X to execute USR4006P
5 Selection type U, for user ID; N to display (not kill) sessions
6 Enter the runaway user ID (in upper case)
7 If Step 6 works (ie sessions were displayed), eXecute USR4006P again, setting the second parameter to Y to kill the sessions Do not abuse this utility! |
