Hi,

I am having a huge dataset consists of millions of records. As part of a fix to be done, I have to delete a single record from the dataset. Since the dataset is huge, normal editing is not possible thru 3.4 option.
When I tried File master it is displaying only a certain set of records from the starting. The record to be deleted is somewhere down the file.

Could you please tell me how to select that record using the line number criteria? I hear that there is some selection criteria I can specify to open the file in edit mode from that particular record. Please help

Hello,

If you are determined to use File Master, someone else will need to reply (or you might open an issue with CA Support).

If you simply want to remove the record, you might consider your sort product.
