After looking at HOw to copy spool output into datasets?,
Can anyone suggest me, How can i copy a part of spool output(not entire
spool output)
i mean my spool gives me a list of members along with some other data.
I want only the members to be copied.
Is there any way i can achieve this. |

Hello,
Yes, you can selectively copy sysout data using xdc.
There are some examples in the forum. |

The XDC option is a shortcut to copy the entire output.
If you want a portion, determine the starting and ending relative line numbers from the SDSF title line and then issue the commands one-by-one:
PRINT DATASET (to provide info on file to receive print)
PRINT nnnn nnnn (to print only a selected range of lines)
PRINT CLOSE |

Well, the entire output of a sysout dataset - not the entire job.

Unless i misunderstood, the request was how to copy some of the sysout datasets to a file, but not all of them. |
