Hello,

ASA print control parameter |
To which parameter do you refer?
Why would you not want asa characters. . .? |

Thanks d.sch
There are 2 report generated by a easytrieve program. Both the files are FBA. When they are combiled the first record of each file has a "0" which is an ASA chacter and this is not required in the report. |

Hello,
If you write a report, Easytrieve provides "carriage control" or "printer spacing". If you write a file, you control the dcb.
If this is a multi-page report, i believe you want the asa characters to get the output to a new page properly.
If the report is small, you could copy fthe report from fba to fb. |

//SYSPR1 DD your output dataset
FILE SYSPR1 PRINTER FB(205 6150)
REPORT PRINT1 PRINTER SYSPR1 LINESIZE 100 NOADJUST NODATE |
